Eatliz is Israel's leading alternative rock band, which was picked by MTV network to be promoted by the exclusive "MTV Artist Spot" followed by Eatliz debut music video "Attractive" – both picked for high rotation on MTV stations.

Eatliz first appeared on the Israeli indie scene in 2002 and has been playing a significant role in it ever since. The group has earned its following through word of mouth and extensive touring of Israel clubs. Eatliz debut album "Violently Delicate" was released in Israel by Anova Music to wide critical acclaim in 2007. “Violently Delicate” was also released in Germany and Austria in the end of 2008, with lead single "Attractive" gathering considerable radio airplay. In support of the release, the band recently played a showcase at Berlin Popkomm, one of Europe’s major music conventions.

Eatliz puts a high notion on the visual aspect, with its spectacular animation music videos getting a massive international buzz. The animation music video for the song "Hey", directed by Eatliz founder Guy Ben Shetrit, won the prestigious Spike Lee award at the Tribeca Film Festival as a part of Babelgum competition. Mr. Lee picked the video personally from 12,000 international videos. Hey won another 7 international awards and participated in a record number of 50 international animation and film festivals. Eatliz debut animation music video "Attractive" directed by Yuval and Merav Nathan (Onewingfly studio) also won numerous international awards.

Eatliz complex compositions and arrangements move between various musical arenas in a way which seems nearly impossible. Different songs feature influences of Hard-rock, Surf, Punk, Goth, Power-pop and other genres; at times several of these turn up in a single song. As such a wide variety is hard to categorize, the band usually describes its music as "complicated pop".
