The mighty Leeds United, selling my girlfriend's clothes on eBay without telling her, dancing, podjockying, joining cults, fish and chips, listening to Slide Away by Oasis on repeat, unneccesary swearing, drinking tea, continuing the eternal search for the perfect pair of trousers, worrying, putting me foot on the ball in readiness to play the perfect pass before giving it straight to the opposition, reading, playing Zelda.

I'm far too cool to admit to a love of Bernard Cornwell's King Arthur trilogy. So I won't. You ALL need Charles Bukowski, Danny Wallace and Luke Reinhart in your life. I'm also a sucker for an autobiography, but most of them turn out to be shit.
About me: FIRE IN THE DISCO was on at Bar None in Nottingham every other Friday. We started in January 2007 and expired in July 2008. We're proud to have built such a great night on the twin virtues of a friendly, unpretentious vibe and downright brilliant music.
Theres a list of the bands that have already played in the music section. You'll have to highlight it to see it, sorry about that. Bloody Myspace page editor.
I suggest you listen to them all. Now.
The way it works is thus:
1. You turn up (doors are at 8)
2. You hand three pounds over to my beautiful girlfriend
Stacey, who's on the door. Remember to say hello.
3. Sign the mailing list, so I can let you know about the
next one.
4. Get a drink (they're CHEAP). You can repeat this step throughout the night, at your leisure.
5. Find me and say hello, I like it when that happens.
6. Watch some AMAZING bands. The first one'll be on
about 9ish. The line ups are in the calendar down there, just below this bit.
7. Once the bands have finished, you can get another drink. In fact, get two.
8. DANCE DANCE DANCE. We're open til late, and there's
disco lights and a dance floor and all that. We'll be playing indie, 60s and soul. The good stuff.
9. Go home. Be happy.
It really is that simple.
WE'RE NOW ON FACEBOOK TOO! LOOK US UP INNIT.
Who I'd like to meet: Anyone else who wants to see some amazing bands without having to wade through a crowd of pretentious arseholes and media bullshit. You're not alone, mate.
