Ebb-Tone, alas are no more. We have evolved into Lomas, a brand new Sheffield band, having hooked up with Lliam Oliver, drummer of Gledhill (Sony).
Visit myspace.com/lomasband or lomasmusic.co.uk for further details.
Our old biog follows:
Ebb-Tone combine beautiful three part harmony vocals over a
varied backdrop of music. With a heavy focus on song writing
and lyrics, expect every song to tell a story and expect
intricate arrangements to draw the listener in and keep them
there. Difficult to pigeonhole this band, their indie roots are
nicely augmented with country vibes.
Entering
2006 with a string of gigs, management/label interest and a
new ep to be recorded in April, the band look set to enjoy
another busy year.
Don't
make a decision to watch us or not just based on reading
these few words look around
www.ebb-tone.com and check
out a few of our tracks. By listening to us you could
save/change your own life and the life of others...example.
you may download the free songs available on our website
burn them onto a CD and play them on your CD walkman as you
were walking to the local store. Because you were getting
into the songs so much you were singing them out loud. A
woman who was just about to step out into the road (in front
of a bus filled with passengers that would have had to
swerve to avoid colliding and crashed into a post-box) to
cross, she turned round to see who was singing such
beautiful words. You and the woman got chatting and realised
that you had a
lot in common and decided to meet for a drink later in the
week...and the story goes on...
