About me:
This page is dedicated to my son Jonathon who suffers from a rare genetic skin disorder called Epidermolysis Bullosa. EB for short. My name is Whitney and I am Jonathons mom, I devote a lot of my time to spreading the word about EB but also helping other families that have children wiht disabilites. EB is a rare genetic disorder. Your skin is very fragile that even the slighetest bump can make it come off. Everyday things like walking, bathing, clothes, eating can cause pain. There are about 500,000 people that suffer from this condition. There are three known forms and some so severe it may cause death. You can get the blisters internally also. At this time there is no cure for EB. Jonathon is in 4th grade and is like most boys his age. He loves fireman and policeman. His dream on day is to be a cop or firefighter. He has a police/fire scanner that he listens to as soon as he gets home. His dream is to one day be a police man or a fireman but with no cure for EB that will be very hard.
