Ebenezer literally translates "stone of help", but it actually stands for much more than that. The Ebenezer stone mentioned in I Samuel 7:12 not only represented God’s help in the present, but also served as a reminder of His faithfulness in the past as well as hope in Him for the future.
As we looked back on when all this started back in 1999 as B.I.C., then onto the 40dayrain years, and to the place we find ourselves now, we could see how the hand of God truly guided us all along the way. There were some really good times....and some really bad times....and through it all, God was faithful even when we weren't. With this renewed commitment, and the determination to keep Him as the focus of what we do, we couldn't think of a more appropriate name for the band than "Ebenezer Stone".

What an awesome service tonight! Thanks so much for coming to True Life Church again and ministering to us. My daughter who was one of the two volunteers who went on stage, (not the one with the pink guitar) was fast asleep as soon as we got home...it must have been all of the jumping around :) Who said you can't have a blast at church?!
Hey! It was great to hear from you! Really looking forward to your return to The G.A.T.E. I'm working on something big for the summer - will keep you posted. Yvonne
