I'm a skater, surfer, singer, song-writer, guitar player, husband, and dad.
My band is Stagger And Fall, a punk rock band with country and blues themes. I work at Thrasher magazine, have for almost 15 years. It's a dream job, only full-time job I've ever had. I was swept up by punk rock, skateboarding and Thrasher magazine in 1982 and still can't believe I've been able to make this my life. My dad, Clarence Ray Sterling, turned me on to blues and old-school country in my teens while growing up in some of the last orange orchards in southern California. I now live by the beach in Linda Mar in the nor-Cal town of Pacifica.
