"Like dipping your nads in ice cream when they’re on fire" -BBC Radio 1 FM
"Wonderfully chilled-out ambient atmospherics, a bit like Belle & Sebastian knobbing Sigur Ros with Nina Cardigan looking on voyeuristically" -Rock Sound
Eberg is in the studio recording his 3rd album.
Eberg first released Plastic Lions in a wooden case. 50 handmade covers were made. They were sawed down, painted, numbered and finally put together with a hinge. Each copy was sold for £15 and the profit was used to print some copies of the album with a more conventional artwork. The album was released in Iceland 7th August 2003 distributed by Smekkleysa (Bad Taste) and in the Uk on Rotator in July 2004
After Ebergs much-praised debut album, Plastic Lions which scored rave reviews all over the press in 2004, the Icelandic popster is set to release the follow-up, VoffVoff, in the new year on Instant Karma. VoffVoff is how Icelandic dogs bark. The album is also out in Iceland through 12 Tónar.
VoffVoff is out in 5th June 2006
“One of the most original laptop troubadours around.” The independent 4/5
“Voff Voff’ is an atmospheric master piece which oozes quality.” Clash
“Voff Voff is a glorious treasure trove.” Music Week
“a lo-fi dilettante who invests his digital pop with warmth and whimsy.” The Times
Jey!
Hey... Hvað segiru annars um bekkinn, ertu með pláss? væri hægt að lakka hann og hafa sem stúku útí á túni.. vá og kannski væri hægt að gera fótboltavöll til að hann hafi einhvern tilgang. ?
