I am in transition. I am a soul singer re-evaluating what soul is. Soul music should come from within, should express real life, and should not be in a genre box. As I redefine what gospel means to me, I wish to sing about the God I love, as well as the pain of life. I want to follow in the footsteps of the holy one, and be all things to all men that I might win them. That they might see light in me, not a hypocrite or a zealot. Just a human with flaws and problems, ups and downs, winning and excepting loss. I just wanna sing life and living.
