| General | As gamers, we'd all rather spend our free time playing the games we love rather than fighting game censorship. But since certain elected officials are working to pass laws that threaten our right to decide which games we want to purchase and play, it's time to stand up and be counted.
At this very minute, restrictive video game laws face court challenges in Minnesota, Louisiana, Oklahoma and California. Additional bills are pending in both houses of Congress. And some politicians are preparing new anti-game laws for the next legislative session. Your state could be next. One day, you could walk into your local retailer only to find that your favorite game had been removed from store shelves because it didn't meet with the approval of a local judge or prosecutor.
Join the Entertainment Consumers Association and you'll mobilize with like-minded gamers to prevent video game censorship. The ECA will educate legislators about the artistic expression found within games. The organization will also let politicians know that gamers care - and vote.
