About me:
This is Electric Cafe in Kent Oh. We are the new alternative for Indie, Lofi, Electro, punk, garage. We are a full bar open til 2:30am. Located at 252 N Water St.
We are located in Kents Art District, one block north of the Zephyr Pub. We are the bands and fans #1 venue in Kent.
Many of our shows come by the way of the Lime Spider in Akron Oh, or the Beachland Tavern or Grogshop in Cleveland.
Don't listen to the hype.
We are able to pay our bands from the door and a % from the bar.
The owner has gone nutts from booking over 500 bands in the last year and 1/2.
We are not a gay bar but are open to any gender, sexual orientation, or tendency.
We are no longer open to all forms of music, this is true.
We are DIY, Underground, and vital. Corporate bands need not request booking. If you are good We will book you with a local band with pull.
