Echelon High is causing a ruckus in the Christian music scene and breaking down the proverbial door on Christian rock music.
Musical influences that help shape the sound of Echelon High can be found in a wide variety of areas. Finding Godly inspiration in the darkest of places and subjects is what transforms the band's underground styling into a mainstream sound that anyone can relate to.
Watered down, sugar-coated gospel will not be found on their tracks. Only realist, highly researched and thought-out lyrics to proclaim the awesomeness of God in every one of His infinite facets.
The band has taken its fair share of controversy for taking influence from the gothic subculture, anti-christian themes, and the acknowledgement of mortal sin. However, these influences are what help create the musical image of light in a pitch black world.
With heavy 80's electro-industrial synths, grungy post-hardcore guitar riffs, and sometimes controversial and thought provoking lyrics, Echelon High is here to stay as a beacon of light in this dark world of sin.
