A l'occasion de ses 2 nouvelles sorties, le label HAMMERBASS investit LA BELLEVILLOISE pour une soirée furieusement dub avec les concerts de KANKA ("Sub.mersion" le 14 avril) et FEDAYI PACHA ("From the oriental school of dub" le 11 mai). Avec en special guests un live du génial pionnier MINIMAN et un DJ set electro-dub/dubstep endiablé de BEN du groupe DUBPHONIC (nouvel album à venir en octobre). Et pour animer le tout, le collectif HAMMERBASS et le DUB WISER crew distilleront leurs dubplates exclusives tout au long de la nuit.

Dougie Conscious from the Bush chemists, is a Roots ambassador : more than just a dedicated fan of King Tubby, Lee Perry, Scientist and the dub dynasty of the ‘70s and early ‘80s, Dougie started making his own sounds in 1989 with a simple four-track owned by one of his friend (Nick Manasseh). Producing several albums and LPs since 1996’s under the Conscious Sounds label, he released some of the hardest digital roots and crucial steppers in Britain.
Coptic Sound System is coming from Lille-Roubaix, north of France with his 9x1,25Kw sound system. Starting in 2000, Nic Coptic and Jericho I were playing radio shows and kept on spreading the conscious vibes by creating also the CSSA, Community Sound System Association. Coptic sound is a wonderful digital producer and they played with top international sounds as Aba Shanti, Channel one, Jah free, Insiration sound and many more.
