Echo Pilot was born at a young age of zero. he used to play with Lego blocks. now, music is his lego. With a bass in one hand, and a tape echo unit in the other, he is now equipped to deal with reality and non-reality in a dubwise fashion. His love of dub and electronic music turned into a desire to play and produce. Echo Pilot plays bass, melodica, synth and does beat and soundscape construction. There have been two albums officially released by this dude. The first one you can't really get anymore, but if you ask him nicely, he'll burn you a copy in exchange for a cup of coffee. The second one, entitled "Between Channels" was released recently and can be purchased in any local Vancouver record stores like Highlife and Zulu Records. Also, you can go to http://cdbaby.com/cd/echopilot to purchase online. Echo Pilot has released a track called "Madcircus Dub" on a compilation called "Dub Solidarity" on the UK label Dubhead Records. Since then he has had 5 tracks picked up for various television series such as Cold Squad, Godivas and Blood Ties. He is currently working on a live PA set to unleash this summer of '07. Stay tuned. He currently DJ's dub of all colors, old and new, at various events including DUBTEMPO, which is a monthly event in the subterranean level of the delicious Jewel of India restaurant. Echo Pilot and his partner-in-crime, Lady Ra host the event with a variety of guest DJ's and live PA artists. This night was started by our friend Adrian Blackhurst, (whom we thank very much for giving birth to this gathering). Anyone interested in chatting, feel free to drop me a line. Peace and be irie!!!

ps- just picked up the greatest thrift store aquisition in history the other day in spokane: a 1976-78 legendary polyMoog synth for 40 bucks!! a full-size keyboard weighing in at 89 pounds with about 40 sliders and 40 buttons for endless grainy warm sci-fi analog dubby synthesis.
Hi there echo pilot first of all we'd like to say thanks for being our myspace pal. We wanted to make sure you knew the reason incase we suddenly vanish off of your friends list. The movement we've started for indie artists has grown significantly and consumes all of our time these days. We seldom sign into our myspace account and this is making several people believe that we are ignoring them. We are not ignoring anyone, we wanted everyone to know that. What we're doing has become so busy we just don't have the time for myspace any longer, so in all honesty we are probably going to just close our myspace account.
Many people wanted to use us in the future so if you were one of those people make sure you bookmark the link below so that in the event that we do close our myspace account you won't loose contact with us. I wish you the best of luck in your music career. Thanks again for being our myspace pal.
so remember that time in the middle of no where somewhere near cherryville bc in the middle of a field on a cloudy morning after a crazy night when two people who'd only just recently met came together and talked about finally understanding the great unnamed 'it'?
Listened to between channels this morning for the first time. It's fucking great man, I'm really-really enjoying it. I had it with some pineapple, which I would highly recommend to anyone who has yet to hear it -eat pineapple while listening to between channels for the first time. And EP, thanks for the CD.
