"Echo Town" a two piece band made up of two brothers, Richard and Robert. We haven't been putting too much effort into MySpace recently, but now that the album is released then things are looking up.
They initially formed a band called "Swamp Donkey". "Swamp Donkey" formed officially back in late 2004 and began writing material for their first album. They initially released a three track single entitled "Butterfly Kiss" in May 2005. The album entitled "The Few and Far Between" was recorded later in October 2005.
Richard and Robert have now concluded their Echo Town album that has been in production for over 12 months now. There are two tracks from the album, Horseman and Railway Mary, plus an album preview track here for you to sample. Please feel free to visit the website at www.echotown.co.uk

Railway Mary and Horseman that are coming from the new album have all been recorded, mixed and produced by: Jonny Lindley, Tom Duff and Robert Munday.

hey! we are trying to change something... our new singer erik can't be a full member of dreamscape because the stess to travel a lot is affecting his health. so we decided to work with more than one singer - honestly we will work with even more than two... hopefully you will like that idea! we like it a lot because we will be very flexible and our sound will become even more complex! kind regards! yeah he got his CD and he loves it!!! said that he can't pick a fav song as he needs to listen to it more BUT... he did say HORSEMAN was great!!!! and since he knows how much i love that song and have been going on about it... hehehe... he said he'd have to agree with me that it is just wonderful, which annoyed him as he doesn't like to agree with me ;)

i was listening to Horseman t'other day (whats new?) i was driving back form working a night shift and so i was kinda sleepy, so i played it real loud :D ... and noticed Robs voice in the backing vocals, he sounds really good in the track. i knew that he did sing in the song, but that one time i really heard him and his voice just came out from the background, it was pretty cool to notice it!!! then again, after working thru the night my mind works very differently!! haha.
just a quick message to say how much im enjoying the album. and although Horseman is my most fav song, (and actualy the gals comment below, Sarah - AKA Cool Gal, put it so perfectly ... its my most fav song in existance!!) ;) BUT Hey Neighbors is giving it a run for its money. its just so poweful and the guitar is perfect!! played it five times today, on the way back from work.. then on way to shop with windows down and full volume!!!!!!!!!!!! teehee
i can't repeat how good it is... the cd is in my car and on my ipod and on my computer - if i could work out how to put it on my phone i would!!

WWOOOOP!!!I LURVE POPULATION HIM AND ME!!! Guys its really amazing and I'm so chuffed its finally finished, I know how much hard work and dedication it took but it has definately paid off. I'm going to second what echo towns official number one fan said and insist that everyone whos anyone should buy this album!!!TOTALLY AWESOME!! My favourites are railway mary(obviously)which is actually my favourite song in existance at the moment, hey neighbours, wolf, sugarplum, robin hood and I'll vouch for you.
Hang on....isn't that like almost the whole album...oh yeah :P too right :)
And the lyrics to no-one wants her made me cry.
