Echo Valley Farm has been playing on facebook! But, since spring is almost here, I may have something to blog about soon. Happy Spring, Friends! Posted at 11:28 AM Apr 6 view more
About me:
Check out the live chicken cam in the hen house! You never know what might turn up. Chickens, cats, Jesse (a Chinook Cross) and even I make an appearance from the knees down.
In addition to naturally raised chicken and eggs I grow pumpkins for my roadside stand and have a marginally passable vegetable and herb garden. I made my maiden voyage into turkeys last year and lived to tell the tale. If only the turkeys could say the same....
Currently I'm doing most of this by myself with the tremendous support of family and friends. This year I'm helping to grow a school, too. Things are pretty busy around Echo Valley!

This is the chicken cam address!
How is the new year going so far? I have been looking for new pics on your page and was disappointed when there were no new winter pics. No birdfeeders coverd in snow or dogs and chickens running threw the snow. BUMMER! Hope all is well !
Chickmas is what chickens celebrate this time of year. If you haven’t already check out the old gallian classic, “THE NIGHT BEFORE CHICKMAS” at http://www. myspace. com/dmboyett
I love your my space page. Thanks for looking at all my pics,I really like my kids:) They also like you and wanted me to say "HI". So we were thinking of you, hope you are having a good day.
I notice that your "status" is listed as "out weeding the garden." I'm thinking this might be a typo--I think you probably meant that you are out *wading* in the garden. Ain't this rainy weather deeeeeeelightful?
How is everything? I hope your tomatoes produced better than mine this year.I had beautiful plants and only a few tomatoes.Very strange. My Jalapeno plants on the other hand produced like crazy.Spicy ,Very Hot actually and beautiful.Maybe next year my tomatoes will do better. You can't make salsa without the tomato,LOL!!
I tried to comment on your foxglove blog several times, but there is a glitch somewhere,so I will just leave you a comment. The foxglove are Beautiful! My favorite color too. My boys saw the pictures and they got all excited. They said those flowers were in one of the Harry Potter movies. LOL!
You worked so hard to make yesterday's auction a success. I hope you are out enjoying the sunshine and a well-deserved day off! Oh, and I can't wait until the snow melts so I can set up the climbing structure for the kids. Such a cool item--thanks again for bidding on it for me!
Hey! It's been forever since I've been over here, and I just LOVE your blog!!!
Going stir crazy with a gaggle of sick children (yes, Asher is hotter than hot with fever tonight--I KNEW it) You enjoy your PN-free days! ;0) haahaahaaa
