At the moment, I'm wasting my time away with Guild Wars. Yes, the sort-of-MMORPG - "sort-of" because PvE quest and mission areas are all instanced (not open to the general public - your little 4-12 person group is alone in the world).
I am the acting leader of Blood of the Martyr [Hope], a guild founded January 2008. The founders, Guan and Redvy, have now set up a forum home complete with a custom domain, www.hopegamers.com.
Yes. I have said it before, I will say it again. I am a nerd. A proud nerd.
I also read alot - like Scientific American - and use strange words like esoteric just to confuse my children.
I like a wide variety of things, from the bizarre to the classic. And some things in between I detest. But the variety is the thing.
Philosophy, world religions, science fiction, science fact, history, oh, and yeah, dogs are pretty cool too.

| | Television | I love Sci-Fi - flavor of the moment is Battlestar Galactica. The new season started, April 4.. This season has been awesome! (but again it was only about six weeks long! Aigh!). Thank you for listening and bringing back all the fighting, the violence and technology b.s. this time! But how long do we have to wait? "New episodes coming soon"? How soon? Arrrr this is killing me! At least I'm looking forward to it this time, not just ambivalent like after last year's season.
