''Are Friends Eclectic'' is a monthly Djing experience in Kilkenny. The difference with the night is that its YOURS. Its essentially an open decks night, but the dj's are (mostly) amatures. We're looking for people who have interesting VINYL collections and would like to showcase it. A crash course will be given before the night on the decks, but mixing ability is not important! Music style doesn't matter as long as its good. Its like a public house party of sorts! So....... how can you play??? Just drop me an e-mail or comment saying you'd like to play and i'll get back to u. (simple as that). Each set lasts about 20 tracks. Why not come along on the 17th April and see what u think. This competition is open to anyone who plays House, Electro, Trance or Techno and is looking to get some regular gigs with a top promotions company.
We will be having a live DJ battle with the top 3 Dj's squaring off to decide an overall winner who will get to play a warm up set for The Legendary JUSTIN ROBERTSON on Friday June 12th at the Zoo Club Kilkenny :) The other 2 finalists will not be forgotten and will still be in for a chance to play at some great gigs this year.
