And we participate in a number of underwater clean-up and restoration activities throughout the year. Check out the events calendar to find out what we've got brewing.
Or come on out for a dive... like this one to Santa Barbara Island...
Who I'd like to meet: Anyone with a love of the ocean. Have you been scuba diving since the days of Jaques Cousteau and Sea Hunt? Did you just finish your first Discover Scuba experience on that cruise to the Mexican Riviera? Were you mesmerized by snorkeling on your honeymoon in Hawai'i?
Check us out! Come diving with us or learn to dive! We've got Open Water (Beginner) classes starting every weekend and continued learning experiences -- from Advanced Open Water, Enriched Air Nitrox, Wreck Diving, all the way to Instructor -- offered all the time.
Our oceans are at a tipping point. We still have time to reverse the damage, but we must make changes now. We believe that a few dedicated people can help us make this difference. We have set a goal of rallying 6,000 friends by Friday. Please help us launch our efforts, by joining our friend list. We are currently at 5,400... so not far to go! Please help with step one! Join us and together we can DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!
No, this isn't diving...it's my other passion...Ok All, We are down to just over a month until the start of the race. This year I am going to crew for one of the female solo riders. I'll try to keep everyone up to date as the start of the race gets closer. Unlike professional races, this race is run continuously from start to finish with no time stops. These riders are average people with a not-so-average ambition. The race leaves Saturday, June 7 at noon from Oceanside, CA. (The website is off). The solo riders average 10-12 days from start to finish of almost around the clock efforts.

Hi! Just came back from a week's diving in the Egyptian Red Sea - so lovely! Saw this huuuge Giant Moray reaching out from his hidey-hole (a little bit scary for a little guy like me, but still neat to see). Hope you have a great week!
