   About Econopop
Econopop is a guitar-based pop band from Knoxville TN. Hooky and melody-driven, the band brings John T. Baker's songs to life with strong harmony singing and intricate guitar arrangements. The band members have a long pedigree of experience in music. Baker has released a string of solo albums as well as leading the French Broads for 4 years and guesting with the Tim Lee Band and Angel & the Lovemongers. Watt and Ratliff have played together in several bands throughout the years, including Nug Jug, the Paperfaces, and the Noble Gases. Middlebrooks has extensive home recording, multi-instrumentalist experience, making him a valuable utility man for Econopop.
