EcoTakako's Interests
General
"A truley heroic way of life lies in squarely confronting and courageously overcoming the pounding vicissitudes that life always throws in our paths" - Daisaku Ikeda
I am ultimately interested in fund-raising and helping DIRECTLY with Wild Tiger Conservation. Supporting groups that are actively doing on-the-ground research like the Wildlife Conservation Society WCS, the US Fish and Wildlife Service's Rhino and Tiger fund, which gives a million $$$ a year to countries with these endangered animals...and the group I helped found, Tigers for Tigers! (they are working on improving the website right now...give them some time)
The Tiger Trust is the group that is putting our tour together & will be talking and learning more from them about what the needs are TIGER TRUST .."http://www.tigertrustindia.com/ ">

About me: GREAT! I married this man, Shinjiro who's perfect for me :) Celebrating with friends is the best way to share in this moment- sorry for the lack of notice for some of ya, but I only invited the closest family and only a handful of friends came. It'll be really relaxed with a NO SUIT AND TIE policy. I'm wearing flip flops!!! woo hoo
My sis has generously passed down her dress. I loaded photos from the Work wedding blitz and You'll see some sill stuff- nothing that should be too shocking tho. http://picasaweb.google.com/ecotakako
Includes the obligatory kiss shot! arg!

Photos from my trip to India in 2006! Just sign up for a tour with Tiger Trust. We saw 13 wild tigers in a two week trip and they are dissapearing so fast they may not be there in 4 years...
IF you feel up to it challenge your limitations!
I blogged this as well - check it!
yes, I'm Takako SATO now!!!
Who I'd like to meet:
Inspired people- people who aren't afraid to inspire others.
Keep chanting Nam Myoho Renge Kyo!
The lack of hope is caused by the lack of action to change your life and to help others along the way too. It's the feeling that someone else is responsible...don't dis-empower yourself like that.
There are plenty of things you can do on your own, so get involved where you shine the brightest! Here's a link for learning about the Earth Charter! http://www.earthcharter.org/
Nothing's going to change unless you change it.

OK So let me see If I have this straight... Friday is the last day of the work week..... We are supposed to be winding down getting ready to relax all weekend....... It takes 36 Muscles to frown.... It Takes 12 Muscles to Smile...... It takes 28 Muscles to Keep ones Face Neutral.... And it Is the beginning of the weekend..... Using fewer muscles=relaxation... And relaxation is part of the weekend.... Should you not be smiling?
The Research Teams at Gulf Coast Crustacean Research and Marine Dynamics have determined that Those who fought for our freedom and happiness really and truly wanted you to be happy.... Therefore it is imperative that as you go through this Memorial day weekend you must be happy, enjoy your freedoms and remember the good times. They fought hard for you to have the freedom to be happy Further if you fail to enjoy the Memorial Day weekend, we will have to sick a really upset pygmy seahorse on you!
OMG Takako!!! I didn't know you got married. I just saw your mom and dad last week and got the news about Shin becoming a dad, but no news about your nuptuals. Wow, well Congrats to you!!! I'm really happy for you and best wishes. Take care and keep in touch.
