About me:

EMCORE was founded in 2006 with a profound love of all music and the basic belief that Artists should be 100% in control of their music career choices. We strive to provide a means for them to do just that. Whether it be through financial support, networking, management, booking resources, recording connections, or even free advice we are always at your beck and call.

We aren't trying to be the next David Geffen or Richard Branson in the process. EMCORE wants to be a foundation and/or a stepping stone to bands who just want to be who they are on their own terms. We truly believe in the principal of, "A rising tide brings up all ships". So by helping you the Artist or Band, we are in a sense helping the entire music community and audiences alike.

So if we can help you-just ask. That's what we are all about. We never ask for money unless it's agreed by both parties, but we do love free swag, cds, show tickets, etc... After all you may be the "Rock Stars" but who's to say we can't live the life vicariously?

We are actively seeking and excepting Press Kits for new bands of all genres. So feel free to add us and inquire if interested in an Indie Recording Deal or even if you just want to drop in and say hello.

We are currently on the fast track to National Promotion and Distribution via various resources and are proud to have Seattle, Washington's The Staxx Brothers on the roster. Some of their most recent achievements include 2 stellar performances at the 2009 SxSW Music Festival in Austin, TX as well as song placements on a great Indie Film called "Hustle and Fish".
