Ecuador Missions, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Christian organization committed to amplifying the lives of the Ecuadorians and aiding in the release of their economic and spiritual poverty through its humanitarian works and spiritual leadership.
Our goal is to give the Ecuadorians a better life, free from hunger. Most of us have never truly been hungry. We've never had to walk an hour to a crop, chop down our evening meal of platano, and then walk back home and prepare it over an open fire. Or we've never had to fish for minnows to feed a hungry family. Many of us drive through a fast food restaurant or heat up microwave dinners for our meals.
But imagine there is no restaurant. There is no microwave. There is no electricity. There are no food stamps. There's no welfare. And imagine if the crop didn't yield any harvest this day. Now, imagine children repeatedly saying, "Tengo hambre" (I'm hungry), while holding their empty stomachs.
Help us to end their sleepless nights, to cease their pangs of hunger, and to give them a full and happy life.
Your donation of just $20 will feed a hungry family for one month.

Thanks for the reply! I'm new at this myspace thing, but I wanted to find a way to say thank you for your ministry!! You just brought Freddie and I the breath of refreshing that we have been needing for some time now. Freddie was so touched that he has been daydreaming of what it would be like to visit you in Ecuador and help deliver food for a week or two. I told him I have no desire to be eaten by mosquitos here, much less monster mosquitos in the rainforest! =) But I was joking. I too have been secretly wondering what joy you must experience every time those little hungry faces come running to you to hear the word of God. I just really needed that service in such a great way...we've had some difficulties -nothing big-but the worries of it can make you feel dry very quickly. In just that one service my thirsty spirit has been filled. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I know God uses you in a mighty way, and we will be praying for the Lord to keep his hand on you and guide you in your work. What a priviledge to be CHOSEN to go to a foreign field and work for Jesus.
PS--on the little head and shoulders, knees and toes song you are singing in Spanish with the children, what is that last part after cabeza, hombre, rodilla, delpio? I don't know spanish to well, and I would love to know what the song says. Might teach it to our four =).
Love and prayers,
Amy
