| General | Writing, piano, history, dogs, ballroom dance, folk dance, the paranormal, all things from and about Latin America, all nature spiritualities, tarot, Argentine tango, collecting Evita memorabilia, Buenos Aires, sleeping in, and hanging with friends. | | Music | Eclectic: tango, operetta, swing era, folk, anything for the ballroom floor. | | Movies | Somewhere in Time, Shall We Dance?, Maid in Manhattan, Too Wong Foo, De-Lovely, Evita, Sabrina (original), and a variety of Argentine movies on DVD that I haul home every year. | | Television | "Sex and the City" reruns mostly, but I'm loving all the new paranormal shows. Everyone has their own take on the topic and there is still so much more to explore. I like to veg to old sitcoms on TV Land, love Jon Stewart's Daily Show, and I admit to being a South Park fan. What I hate (other than televangelists or infomercials) are the reality shows. Some of these folks need to get a life of their own. | | Books | Too many to list. I read EVERYTHING! My fantasy house would have one of those huge Victorian libraries with fireplaces and wingback chairs, and two stories of book-filled walls with sliding ladders to reach the higher shelves. | | Heroes | Eva Perón, Helen Keller, Eleanor Roosevelt, Harriet Tubman, Queen Elizabeth I, the mythical Queen Maeve; also, Richard Rodgers, Lorenz Hart, Cole Porter, Jerome Kern, and my Parents and Grandparents. |

About me:
Every single one of my friends and colleagues have told me how much fun they have with this website, so I decided it was time to join the herd. I am a Witch and proud of it, initiated in 1981, and I have watched the Craft grow into a mature, modern, adaptation of ancient nature spirituality. I am the author of 20 books on Witchcraft and magickal topics, my personal favorites being: Celtic Myth & Magick, Celtic Womens Spirituality, Advanced Witchcraft, The Sabbats, If You Want to Be a Witch, and A Witchs Guide to Faery Folk. I have four more books in progess, one with great photos of a six week ghost hunting trip in Buenos Aires. I love to write period, especially about the religion I love, and about the paranormal and other metaphysical mysteries. I love meeting fellow Pagans at some of the great festivals around the country. I learn something from everyone I meet, and I take away terrific memories. I am launching a new paranormal investigation group, Pisces Moon Paranormal (www.PiscesMoonParanormal.com) in April, and looking forward to sharing information and ideas with people who have similar interests.
I'm currently taking classes toward a translation certifcate (Spanish-English) with The University of Toronto. This online distance learning is great! I can stay at home and still attend some of the best schools in the world.

Who I'd like to meet:
Laurie Cabot, Janet Farrar, Selena Fox, and Maggie Shayne probably head up my list of living people I want to meet, a I just discovered Janet and Selena will be at the Florida Pagan Gathering Beltane festival in May (2007). I can hardly wait to meet them face to face. I have a huge list of people from the past I would love to have known. Anyone who has been on my website (www.edainmccoy.com) knows I admire Eva Perón.
