MySpace a place for friends

Hey. I'm Eddie Cain Irvin, and music is my life. Been playing piano since I was 5ive, writing probably just as long, if you want to count all the songs always flying through my head.
I have five CDs, the first of which I recorded on a talkboy ! Now I work with Protools on the computer with some relatively nice equipment

I was born and raised in Buffalo, the snowy city. We don't shut down when we have a foot of snow, we slip and slide through it! When Buffalo finally gets around to Summertime, it's gorgeous. Mother Nature just tends to procrastinate Springtime..

This past year (Feb '08 - Feb '09), I recorded 1 minute of music almost everyday for 366 days and posted on Youtube, (link: youtube.com/eddies1m) all the while growing my studio and wrapping my mind around writing and recording audio. I had an amazing time and I kept improving the sound all the way to the very end -- all the while playing with my friend's slow motion camera (thank you STEPHEN!) and flipping regular video in reverse. Now that huge project is over, I'm jumping back into the passenger seat and I'll be focusing on the songwriting, thank you. Ratios and frequencies and dBs are fun, but I'm ready to stop being a hermit and start performing again.

Starting and finishing the album Summer 2009. Definitely working with Parkhaven Productions Recording (ProTools HD), Armand Petri (Goo Goo Dolls, Sixpence None the Richer), World of Noise Recording (myspace.com/worldofnoiserecordingstudio).
