   About Eddie Chiurco

Sometimes in life we learn more in the car when we travel places than anywhere else. For Ed Chiurco, traveling is the key to adventure, friendship and the journeys into life and all the experiences it can offer.

In his new CD, Water In The West, Ed reminds us that traveling is something that brings out the life that is all around us, and that we often forget about. It’s a place of wide open spaces, nature and a chance to find ourselves. For example in the featured song, Driving Nebraska, he reminds us of how we can once again be independent and fun loving selves with our friends in the freedom of getting away from our problems and doing what we want.

But while traveling provides a sense of freedom and adventure, it is also a time where we provide the strength and support that others need when they are in trouble as Ed talks about in the song, Oregon. And regardless of our experiences, the hardest part of any traveling as he talks about in Leaving Colorado is that time when we have to leave behind all the people and places we have grown attached to.

Throughout our lives we frequently look for our true selves. To rediscover other aspects of ourselves that have been forgotten or put away. Who knew that the journey to rediscovering them starts by getting behind the wheel and driving past the city limits?

I dunno if you heard, but Wednesday is the new coolest day of the week!

Sure, we all go to shows, but this one actually does something extra for the community. Have part of the dough you fork over do something productive.
In other words, give a care! And see some great bands while you're at it!

Hope to see you there.
Thanks!

We need to jam again soon. If you come up to Salem, we've got some friends that we jam with. They are really great musicians and we believe with your fun and creative sound, we can just jam! Rock on man!

Enjoy the summer!
