Eddie is a drummer with a strong background in jazz, funk, rock and power pop. He specializes in working with artists who perform their own original material, and can be heard on a number of CD's by West Michigan songwriters, including Karisa Wilson (folk rock), David Molinari (rock/roots/eclectic), Fiction Switch (alternative/power-pop), Mark DePree (blues/rock/folk), Jack Lewis (instrumental/new age) and a number of others. But in addition to his work with original artists, Eddie also enjoys playing with the powerful 10-piece horn band, Hip Pocket, which performs songs by Tower of Power, Earth Wind & Fire, Chicago, Steely Dan, and others. Eddie also plays with the fusion band, Side Pocket, and the Celtic/worldbeat group AnDro. On Sundays, you can usually hear Eddie playing with the contemporary worship groups at one of several local churches. Eddie is always eager to link-up with talented musicians to explore new projects, so don't hesitate to make contact. Go to Eddie's main website at www.EddieEicher.com for more info and sample tunes.
You are one of the cleanest sounding drummers I have heard in a long time. Everything is balanced, where it belongs and a pleasure to listen to. Can I swipe some of your licks?
Hey Eddie. I have an idea and wanted to see if you think it'd be cool or if everyone'd be too busy. I was thinking that maybe you, Rom, Joel, and me could get together sometime and make some music. Maybe as a way to stay used to each others way of playing for whenever Ryan gets back...if he ever does. But I can see that you're playing with a bunch of other groups so if you're too busy I totally understand. Hopefully we'll see each other soon. Oh, by the way, I really like that original song you wrote. I didn't know you were awesome at songwriting too.
Hi!Eddie**Welcome to myspace**It is for people who love and enjoy listening to others sing or play beautiful music. You are a awesome drummer thank you for being here.Your new friend Reggie

What a great show last week. I had a blast there and at Rocky's. I've got a couple songs in the pipeline that could use your chops when you have some time. I'll get you mp3's later this week to put some ideas together.
Score! First comment...oh to be clever yet pithy but not smarmy nor cloying....Ed, I'll play with you any time the opportunity arises, ye of the tasteful tap!
