I was born in the small rivertown of Augusta, Kentucky! And at the Jailhouse!!!!!! My Grandpa was the Jailer at the time and that was where my Mom & Dad lived at the time. I love my music, my family, and I feel blessed and sometimes cursed for the life I have led.
I'm a graduate of the Augusta Independent High School, class of 1980. Several years later I decided to further my education and graduated in June 1991 from Fugazzi College in Lexington,Kentucky with an Associate Degree in Specialized Business, majoring in Radio & Television Broadcasting. I also earned in March 2004 a diploma from The Audio Institute of America, certifying Recording Engineering training.
My music has given me the chance to perform all over the world. Some places I have been are Korea, Italy, Greece, Kuwait, The Marshall Islands, Greenland, Turkey, The Azores, Saudi Arabia, and more.
I have also, through music, had the pleasure of sharing the stage and meeting some of greatest stars of Country Music. Some of them include, Merle Haggard, George Jones, Charlie Daniels, Alan Jackson, Jerry Reed, The Kentucky Headhunters, LeAnn Rhimes, Vern Gosdin, Kevin Denney, Steve Wariner, Craig Morgan, Doug Stone, John Michael Montgomery, and Montgomery Gentry.
I am currently a member of the Inside Out Band (be sure to check out our myspace site www.myspace.com/insideoutband), based out of Bracken County, Kentucky. Some of my former bands include "Good Old Boys", "Southwind", "Winner", and "The Uncle Ligah Band". In the Uncle Ligah Band, I put down my guitar and performed on the bass guitar in this Winchester, Kentucky based band who were the house band at the former Dixieland Lounge in Winchester.
I love Fender Telecaster Guitars and would one day love to hold and play Don Rich's Silver Sparkle Tele and Waylon's leather covered Tele. That would be cool!
I love writing songs, and I have placed some of my songs here on Myspace. I hope you enjoy them. Who knows, maybe one day you might hear one of coming out of your radio speakers. But until that happens I'll stick 'em up here and share them with you.
