Bio
Eddie is the contagious, high energy pop band of superbly talented singer Larissa Eddie, her brother Rawns on drums, Tom Beck on bass and Tarq Elphick on guitar. All four members sharpened their skills at the Brighton Institute for Modern Music and have been writing and gigging from a young age. Their talents recently wowed the judges of EA games 2009 Battle of the Bands, which was covered by T4. Eddie’s rocking set won them an all expenses paid trip to perform in New York City as well as performing on the same bill Natasha Beddingfield, The Saturdays and McFly in Trafalgar Square. The band are currently working on new songs with Brighton writing team Chicks With Hits and some of Europe’s hottest producers. With the voice of Christina, the attitude of Gwen and the looks of Cameron, 2010 looks set to be a big year for Eddie!! Watch this myspace... .. .. REVIEW from Live&Love Music;"Eddie and the talented musicians that accompanied (and I hope stay with) her were by far the best live act of the night. Eddie has an incredibly strong voice and stage presence both of which will mature nicely once the slight edge of stage school has been eradicated. Her music has a later day 'No Doubt' feel. Delivering strong pop tunes laden with funk bass lines and catchy riffs; she even managed to pull off the near impossible 'white girl rap' with effortless ease. The rapport between Eddie and her musicians playing went a long way to making their live act more enjoyable and I hope whichever record company picks her up will bear this in mind. I am sure we will see Eddie in many guises in the near future, but of all the acts presented she is most likely to make it.".. <a href="http://www.mybannermaker.com" target="_blank">Masthead Banner Made with MyBannerMaker.com!
