About me: EDDIES moved to Gough Street on October 3rd 2008. We started the dawning of a new era. We now know that the Phoenix has most definitely arisen. So you can continue to dust off your leathers; rip more holes in your old levi's; paint those eyes blacker than ever, cuz we're most certainly BACK!!!!!!! (even though we are in a recession).
EDDIES can now be found at its new home on Gough Street, Birmingham B1 1HN - which is directly opposite the Alexandra Theatre in Birmingham. It's a fantastic new venue, and it'll have the feel and look of a Rock Club through and through.
Just as we were at Edwards No8, the club is open every Thursday, Friday and Saturday. This time around, there are three rooms, to cater for the needs of all you Rock, Metal, Punk, Gothic, Glam and generally nutty people out there.
Thursday brings a DJ from 10pm until 2am, with an entry price of £2 B4 11pm and £3 afterwards (no need to dig out those Student Cards, this applys to everyone). Friday gives you a similar offering with the ALL REQUEST Rock and Gothic Show, again until 2am, this time it's £3 B4 11pm and £4 afterwards. Saturday is the Big Night Out for most, so all 3 rooms will give you the full spectrum of Rock and Gothic Music with our DJ's from 10pm to 3am, £5 & £4 for Members
Thursday and Fridays brings the best from YOUR REQUESTS ALL NIGHT, so no complaining the music's wrong..... YOU CHOOSE IT!!!!
Saturdays will also be similar to days of old because that's what you've asked for, with DJs Gez, Presley and Chris your hosts across the three rooms. Gez will play the main room night (filling in where Phil left off), playing both Classic and New Rock, Grunge, and Nu Metal anthems. Presley can be found in the Dungeon to entertain with Goth, 80's New Romantic, EBM and Electronica. Finally, Chris will be playing all of your Classic Rock tunes, with a smidgen of AOR and Glam to keep you amused.
Opening times are 10pm til 2am on Thursday & Friday and 10pm til 3am on Saturday.

However, never fear, bringing the light to the event will be Angel LaVey of the Silk Stocking Striptease Show. Whether you want something, light and comical or dark and deviant, the 9th Silk Stocking Striptease Show will have something for you. Pick your poison, light or dark, we have it all and we guarantee to satisfy your cravings.
The Silk Stocking Striptease Show Nine will be taking place on the 8th of August 2009 at The Flapper Pub. Tickets will cost you £7.50 in advance from www.birminghamburlesque.com and will be on sale until midday on the 8th of August. You will be able to buy tickets on the door at £9 each, subject to availability. The doors to the show open at 7:30pm and the show will begin at 8:30pm.

It's been a while, but I managed to get out on Saturday, only to see Colin DJing the main room at Eddies. What an excellent night it was, I can't tell you the last time I had such an awesome time. Excellent music and a brilliant atmosphere. More than I can say for the Asylum and their poor effort of an Edwards/XLs night.

Blood Divided are a 5 piece metal band hailing from Nottingham with a wealth of gigging experience. In July we are heading out on our second UK tour. We are taking another stunning metal band "12 gauge facelift" from Blackpool out on tour with us this time and we are happy to play anywhere on a metal bill.
We have played with bands such as Acacia Strain, Bring Me The Horizon, Annotations Of An Autopsy, Romeo Must Die, Ted Maul, Eternal Lord and many many more.
We will be taking a full backline on tour with us and will be happy to share this with any local bands we play with.
