About me:
Eddie Uehara is a talented young filmmaker out of University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He is most well known through his dance films online on popular websites as youtube and myspace. His work has accumulated millions of views worldwide, thus resulting in thousands of subscribers and fans. He is able to create, not only entertaining, but inspiring films for his viewers to watch on a daily basis. Eddie first started off creating basketball videos in high school. Then he developed the passion of storytelling after making a movie for an assignment in his English class. He decided to major in film at UNLV which he currently still attends. Early in May of last year at the school’s annual film festival, he took home the awards for Best Director and Best Picture for his first short film, Reiko. It also went on to be showcased at the CineVegas film festival. Then a few months later, it won Best Horror Film at the International High Desert Shorts. Since then, Eddie has been recognized as an up-and-coming filmmaker, and it has gained him the confidence in his ability to make films. As part of the John Lennon Education Tour Bus, he has also worked with such artists as Yoko Ono, Natasha Bedingfield, and Will.I.AM. Today, he continues to develop his craft and strives for a place in Hollywood as a Director/Editor. It’s just a short time away!
