| About Eddie Wen |
Freelance Trumpet Player base in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Started his trumpet playing in Catholic high school band, he become a member of PJ Youth Symphonic Band, KL Symphony Orchestra & the National Symphony Orchestra.
Since young, he has been listen to mostly chinese canton pop music, later when he start to play in a orchestra, classical music start to influence his musical preference. The he expose to Jazz music in 2001 and study under Greg Lyons, and perform with Greg Lyon's Nonet & Acid Jazz band - Biophonics.
He loves music from Classical (Barouqe & Romantic Period - Bach, Tchaikovsky, Bartok, Stravinsky.), Pop (Boy 2 mens, Michael Jackson, Alicia Keys, Jamie Cullum, Mariah carey, David Tao, Lee Hom, Earth Wind & Fire, Josh Goblan...etc) Rock, Funk, Hip Hop, House, Swing, and JAZZ.
