I grew up hearing country, western and gospel music. Almost all the old time artists were my favorites. Then when Marty Robbins came along with his gunfighter music, I fell in love with it. Nowadays there are literally hundreds of cowboy songwriters and singers and cowboy poets to keep this type of music alive.

I think my music sounds a lot like several artists. Marty Robbins, and many of my fans compare my singing to Jimmy Dean.
I have been writing and singing cowboy and gospel music for 55 yrs. I started singing in country music dance bands and then started doing singles at coffee houses and other various venues. I have recorded with music greats Stuart Hamblen, Cliffie Stone, and Red Steagall. My first love is cowboy music and I also was raised in a little country church, where I loved to sing the old time gospel music. I have performed at the National cowboy Symposium, in Lubbock, the Arizona Cowboy Symposium in Tucson and many other various venues sponsored by WMA and AWA. My main thrust right now is Cowboy Churches and would love to perform for the Glory of God in those venues. I also make world class jumbo guitars and inlay them with real turquoise. I have made guitars for Miss Devon Dawson, Evelyn Roper, Miss Anita Witt, Jim Carlisle, Bill Merritt, Wayne Richardson, and Andy Cooper.
