Als der Name "In August" im Januar zum ersten Mal, wusste noch niemand, was auf ihn zukommt. Gegründet im Rausch (der Sinne), bekam der Gedanke einer "Allstar-Band" immer mehr Sinn... ...und sei es nur zum Austoben.
Stilistisch kann man In August schwer beschreiben. Und falls sie in eine Schublade gesteckt werden sollen, passen sie nicht rein.
Am 22.1.2005 startete auch die Tour im Beteigeuze, wo auch gleichzeitig der letzte Gig der Tour war. D.h. die Tour umfasste einen legendären Gig, der absolut ausverkauft war und Gimmicks enthielt, wie Weißwurschd kochen auf der Bühne, Hardcore Bier vernichten, usw. Dieser Gig war der beste Gig von In August!! Und der einzige!!!
Ende des Jahres 2005 nahm In August ihren ersten Longplayer auf, der alle großen Hits, wie "Triole", "10", "7", "Möx beginning", "Joki's Liebling" oder "kleine Terz" beinhaltet.
Der Longplayer wird Mitte 2006 veröffentlicht, die Band verhandelt gerade noch mit renomierten Plattenfirmen um die Rechte. *g*
Die Band besteht aus Rooom (Drosophila), Möööö (Sepcys), Booob (Sepcys) und Joooa (Semtex).
