| About Eden Row |
I AM NOT FROM EDEN ROW! I'm just a big fan of their's and a good friend. Yes I do know them and yes I do talk to them. You can too, just go join their forum at http://www.edenrow.com/yabbse/.
In May 2002, singer/songwriter, Kris Bishop and guitarist, Don D'Aprix met Berkeley College Of Music grads, Josh Roberts and G.W. Pope. After a brief meeting which consisted of listening to potential songs, Eden Row was born. Taking their name from Emily Dickinson's poem, "Wild Nights, Wild Nights", Eden Row played their first show in June 2002. The band played in various clubs around the northeast, making a name for themselves with high energy shows and radio-ready rock songs. Comparisons to bands like Blink 182, Sugarcult, Butch Walker, and Lit followed. In March 2003, Eden Row released their critically acclaimed first EP, "Dizzy"garnering many great reviews.
"...get this now so you can make fun of all the kids who didn’t hear them until they were on TRL."
"...this is one entertaining album. If you can't find summer love and summer fun with this as background, you're just not trying."
In September 2003, Degy Entertainment CEO, Ari Nisman, signed on as Eden Row's manager. In March 2004, drummer, Jamey Bartley, a chilhood friend of Roberts, joined Eden Row with his hard hitting style. During the summer of 2004, Eden Row joined the Vans Warped Tour and in the Fall played an unprecedented 4 showcases at the prestigious National Association for Campus Activities (NACA) conferences. Eden Row has shared the stage with other national acts including: Authority Zero, Flickerstick, Vanilla Ice, New Blood Revival, and Val Emmich. Now with new drummer, Mark McCarthy on board, Eden Row is ready to begin recording the follow-up to "Dizzy" while embarking on their 2005 Winter/Spring college tour.
