A MINI-BIO
Edgar Ribon was born and raised in Newark, New Jersey. He had the initial dream of actually becoming an astronaut. He enrolled in the Marine Corps Officer Candidate School with plans of becoming a fighter pilot to earn the flight time required by NASA. He was also enrolled as a Mechanical Engineering student at Rutgers University in New Jersey, things changed when his eyesight became worse than allowed by the Marines. This occurence caused Edgar to rethink his whole future...
As a child he always used his imagination and imagined himself to be a hero in a different world. He would encourage his friends to make armor and fake weapons for their performances. Having a knack for acting he always knew he wanted to perform, so began a career in sales. Edgar has always been able to easily pick up other accents and imitate other people as well. In car sales, in particular, he quickly learned that there is a technique to an act. He left a lucrative position in the car business for an acting career. He worked his way up from an Extra into acting in films just as he worked his way up from a Sales position into a position as a Finance Director. Having done his initial study under FS Petrilli at Weist-Barron School for Film and TV, he knew this was his calling. Edgar Ribon has been called an intense but easygoing actor with a strong potential for leading roles by several industry professionals. He has been jokingly told several times that he could portray Eric Bana's** cousin in films as the two actors share similar characteristics and overall body frame.

I'd like to meet anyone interested in making films, especially screenwriters, producers, and directors with quality skill of course. I also want to partner up with screenwriters as I have stories galore, I have many short stories written and I can come up with a story and write it down. I always picture myself as a character in the story. Not always the lead because sometimes I model the main character after someone I know or character type I have observed on the street, or subway, or on vacation, I think you catch my drift. I always write a story picturing it as a Movie in my head, and I am usually one of the characters experiencing it.
