Situated adjacent to the Wedgewood venue in the heart of Southsea's cosmopolitan community, The Edge is a relaxed, modern and friendly location to enjoy the company of friends. It hosts a diverse and eclectic range of events, including the weekly Acoustic Club held every Tuesday night.
- There's 3 acts each Tuesday & each one plays a 30-40 minute set.
- PA is provided plus an engineer. You just bring your instruments (ideally you'll need pick-ups for your acoustic guitars).
- No full drum kits! You must bring along a snare & brushes or just bongos
- Bass players will need to bring an amp.
- Acts must arrive at 8pm and inform the engineer of their requirements.
- First act starts at 9pm (running order is decided on the night by the engineer).
- There's a few free beers and some petrol money for each act.
- As it's free entry, please try and bring as many people along to watch as possible. The more support you bring, the more you'll get booked ;o)
