Recording in progress!
We are FINALLY back in the studio! Last night we started recording our next album with Jocko at More Sound in Syracuse. We've got three songs of drums done so far and they're sounding awesome. Can't wait to get back in there tonight!
Our Myspace page has been pretty neglected for awhile now, and I'm not sure how often I'm going to be able to update it. I started a Facebook page for us and thats where I plan to do most of the updates and news from the studio.
Go add us!

Planning to put up some pictures from the studio and maybe a rough track or two as things start coming together more.

FINALLY have recording dates!
We finally have some time booked to go record another album! In mid-March we'll be heading into More Sound in Syracuse to record with our man Jocko behind the mixing board. It's been way too long since we last put out a record and we are itching to get in there and see what we can do. The new songs are much more focused. Faster...but more cohesive. Lots of blast beats. Vocals are more organized now that it's just Graham and I doing vocals. "Ferocious" is the latest term that was tossed out there by the last person that heard our practice room demos. Hopefully we can live up to that in the studio! So we'll be starting the recording in mid-March and have a few dates booked at the end of April to do some last final touches. I'm hoping to post some updates from the studio...hopefully with some rough tracks and shit....so stay tuned. It's looking like it's going to be 11 tracks...maybe 12...no idea on a title yet. And of course it will be on Black Market Activities because BMA rules and Guy is still willing to hook us up even though we haven't toured in years! In other news...Jesse and I are both becoming all grown up and respectable and whatnot. Both of us have recently bought houses and will be getting married later this year!.....not to each other though.Seriously.........there were actually girls out there that found us interesting and attractive enough to want to spend the rest of their lives with us.Weird, huh?And.....Graham still works at the mall.Loser. -
Recording in February!
Current mood:
This February we are tentatively scheduled to head into the studio at More Sound with the one and only Jocko at the helm to record an EP of songs we wrote about two years ago.
stoked
We are currently in the process of putting the finishing touches on six songs that we originally wrote two years ago and working on the lyrics/vocals for them. We are also working on some brand new songs that we may record at the same time to put on a 7" or a split...but they may just end up on the EP, turning it into a full length, if they mesh well enough with the material we wrote two years ago. Black Market Activities still has our back even though we havent been touring and don't have any real plans to start again anytime soon. For that we are very appreciative. Guy at BMA is awesome and we're glad to be doing another record for him.
We don't have a firm date locked in to start recording but when we do I'll make it known. Hopefully I'll be able to post some updates from the studio and maybe a rough track or two! So stoked to get back in there and record!
