It is with regret we announce that Edgeless Promotions will no longer be promoting live music events. I have personally been left with huge debts this year due to the companies losses and sadly it is no longer viable to continue. If you have been to shows recently you'll of seen the downturn in attendance. If you haven't been recently, then that's why we're not going anymore.

We will still continue to promote the Trowbridge legs of Discord, and MiniFest will hopefully continue long term after a break in 2009.

We'd like to take the chance to thank all those who have supported us during the last 3 years whether band, agent, promoter, venue or audience member. Our last 2 shows are *Shels on Wednesday at Bristol Croft, and Exit Ten at Trowbridge Snooker Club which are a great way to end things.

23.06.2008 - TERRY'S IS CLOSING

We had some very sad news over the weekend, which is that Terry's will be closing down after this years BOTB final. Will not go into the reasons for it closing in a public forum. We'd like to thank Terry, Ralph, Caroline, Chris and everyone who's been involved and supported at us Terry's over the last 2 years. We are hoping to put together a final farewell gig mid July. Any shows we had booked for after MiniFest (in Trowbridge) have been pulled while we consider our options and alternative venues.

21.05.2008 - MINIFEST BOTB LINE UP ANNOUNCED

Edgeless Promotions is proud to present this years MiniFest Battle Of The Bands line up.

For this years second annual tournament we are extending the competition to 5 heats and the final. As it was last year a combination of a judging panel, and audience votes will decide the winners.

08.05.2008 - MAY IS A BIG MONTH

Following on from the amazing INME half dayer on Sunday, Edgeless Promotions have 3 more exceptional shows for you this month.

First up this Saturday we have Germany's WAR FROM A HARLOTS MOUTH @ Terry's, Trowbridge.

Then next Wednesday, 14th May, we have an awesome line up featuring GENGHIS TRON & NACHTMYSTIUM from the US of A, and support from our favourite band DEVIL SOLD HIS SOUL. What a bill!

And then to close of the month on Saturday May 31st we have SONIC BOOM SIX at Terry's.

09.03.2008 - INME CONFIRM FOR TROWBRIDGE

This is right up there with Reuben, Hed Pe and Skindred for the biggest bands we've done here. InMe reguarly sell out 1000 cap venues still, and this show's at Terry's not The Civic!

It's a Sunday but as bank holiday on Monday it will be 6 bands and looks being a very good day. Quality line up throughout,

09.02.2008 - FEB GIGS AND NEW CONFIRMED SHOWS

So the February shows kick off tonight with Bossk, Kruger and The Perfect Excuse at Terrys. This is just the star of the great gigs this month with I Was A Cub Scout and Brigade still to visit Terry's. See listings for details.

Also during Jan we have confirmed Terry's shows for Burning Skies, Sonic Boom Six and War From A Harlots Mouth.

MiniFest 2008 is now well into the planning stages. The event will be much bigger than last year and feature 2 days and 2 stages on each day. Expect around 30 bands for the weekend, and line up announcement in April.


07.01.2008 - EDGELESS PROMOTIONS SUE AMEN

Edgeless Promotions pursued legal action against Amen in mid December. The action was unfortunately forced after the deposit money from the 2 shows cancelled by the band in November was not returned.


05.12.2007 - DISCORD RETURNS TO TROWBRIDGE

So you may have know for a while now Discord will return for an Xmas special on December 22nd at Terry's after the Indica gig.

What you probably haven't heard yet is that Discord will return reguarly for 2008. Yep Discord will be taking place on the first Friday of every month throughout 2008 at Trowbridge Civic Hall. Finally something to do again on Friday nights :)


05.12.2007 - SHOWS FOR 2008

First shows are now booked in for 2008. We're hugely delighted to work for the first time with Canada's BLESSED BY A BROKEN HEART who will be playing Newport and Trowbridge at the end of January. Also recently confirmed we have MIDASUNO for Terry's, as well as one of our favourite bands we put on in 2007 I WAS A CUB SCOUT.


12.11.2007 - AMEN - NEWPORT & TROWBRIDGE CANCELLED

Official statement from Amen:

"It is with regret that we must announce the passing of John Tumour Fahrkenstock's grandmother. As a result, John has flown home today to fulfill his funeral obligation and carry his grandmother's casket in the ceremony. The funeral is to be held in his homestate of Pennsylvania.

AMEN has overcome many obstacles to arrive in the UK for this tour, most of those have been, unfortunately, deaths. In addition to Tumour's grandmother, Casey's father passed during this tour as well as one of his best friends, Paul Raven. Casey was unable to attend either funeral.

Due to this circumstance, AMEN is unable to continue the remaining dates of the tour in respect of Tumour's wishes. AMEN had a lovely time on this secret "small clubs, no barriers, Raven R.I.P." tour and as you have seen, AMEN are back and will continue to come back as long as you, The Brigade, are there to welcome them. We enjoyed seeing every one of you this time around and we hope to see you again next year in support of the new AMEN album....Until then, destroy rock and roll.... "




There is a lot more to come out about this but for now we'll just give you their statement. Apologies to anyone who was looking forward to these gigs like we were but obviously this is out of our control.

To all of you that had bought tickets (which is a lot of you) please seek refunds from where you bought them. Any questions about refunds please don't hesitate to contact us.

As for this Saturday which was also my birthday party it looks like the whole thing will probably now be cancelled. Unless I can find a good size headliner at 4 days notice which is obviously unlikely then it won't be happening.

11.11.2007 - NEW SHOWS ANNOUNCED AND NEWS

Hi all. Just a quick update and announcements on some newly confirmed shows.

Firstly the Amen tour is well underway and going well. The Bristol show was great, so make sure to get yourselves to Newport or Trowbridge this week to see them.

Also newly confirmed for Trowbridge we have one of our very favourite Uk bands in the form of Exit Ten on November 24th, and a very special one for our Xmas party. The reunion for one night only of Indica, followed by the return of Discord to Trowbridge for a club night after the show.

And continuing our more frequent shows down in Wales we're very happy to be a part of the amazing Bring Me The Horizon, Architects and The Break In show at TJ's on November 23rd.

The shows we have up until the end of the year are looking amazing so hope to see you at one soon.


17.10.2007 - AMEN NEWS
A litle update from the Amen camp. Sure many of you have heard rumours of this tour not happening, and it has been hitting problem after problem, but they are coming and will be at all of our shows :)

TOUR UPDATE (10.16.07)

After all the supposed past booked tours and theoretical disasters, AMEN's black cloud has pronounced yet another set-back. As the band were ready to leave for the airport today they were informed that their work visas had not yet been cleared, thus making the un-announced show on the 18th in Dartford IMPOSSIBLE and ILLEGAL for them to do.

With that being said, the band is rescheduling that date for sometime next week, making the first gig the Damnation Festival in Leeds on Oct. 20th. AMEN will be co-headlining one of the two stages with Kreator, and while they remain unsigned they have a new album ready for release in early 2008. See today's only living mentalist DJ $peedranch along with the Inbreds on all of AMEN's tour dates.

There will be no barricades, no bourgeoisie pose, just 100% pure gutter punk noise...AMEN is there for your abusement. More dates to be announced once they land in the UK. .

14.10.2007 - THE PERFECT EXCUSE WIN SUPPORT POLL

The Perfect Excuse have won the support poll over Trigger The Bloodshed and Mea Culpa and will be supporting Architects, Devil Sold His Soul & Cry For Silence on Thursday 15th November.

Congrats to TPE, and thanks to all the bands who took part and everyone who voted.


08.10.2007 - NEW ARCHITECTS DATE FOR TROWBRIDGE

The ARCHITECTS, DEVIL SOLD HIS SOUL & CRY FOR SILENCE show has now been rescheduled for Thursday 15th November.

Ticket sites have been updated, If you've already bought tickets online you'll have an email from them with the new info on, and details of claiming a refund if you need to . I hope that everyone can still make the new date and sorry again for any inconvinience.


05.10.2007 - AMEN TO PLAY BRISTOL, NEWPORT & TROWBRIDGE!

The April tour has finally been rescheduled, and we're delighted this time around to be presenting 3 of the dates to you.

AMEN and tour support THE INBREDS will be playing BRISTOL CROFT on November 4th, NEWPORT MEZE LOUNGE on November 15th, and TROWBRIDGE TERRY'S on November 17th. The Trowbridge show is also my birthday party so I hope as many of you can come as possible.

Our tickets are the cheapest on the whole tour, we've done each of them as cheap as we possibly can considering the venue capacitys.


05.10.2007 - ARCHITECTS TO BE RESCHEDULED!

Architects have been asked to support Enter Shikari on their London show on November 7th so unfortunately Trowbridge will have to be rescheduled.

However the line up will be staying exactly the same with all the 3 touring bands, and the support poll is still valid. Tickets remain onsale and will all be valid for the new date. If you can't make the new dates refunds will be offered. Hopefully will have news of the new date on Monday so watch this space. Apologies for the inconvinience.

19.09.2007 - CHANGES TO UPCOMING LINE UPS

Unfortunately NORTH SHORE have pulled out of the Days In December support on Sep 19th, and TONIGHT IS GOODBYE have pulled their headline show on October 20th.

Good news though, THE PERFECT EXCUSE will be stepping in to open on September 29th.

And to step in on October 20th we have MIRRORVIEW, who visiting Trowbridge twice before under their old name of CHAIRMEN OF THE BORED. You might remember them as Vocalist/ Guitarist Ben used to play Cameron in Hollyoaks, and the band have spent a lot of time drinking and socialising after their last Trowbridge shows so we should be in for a good night!

Also if you were wondering about the below bit of news, the tour announcemnet has been delayed slightly, should have more news very soon.

09.09.2007 - ARCHITECTS CONFIRM RETURN TO TROWBRIDGE

Yep Brighton metallers ARCHITECTS will be visiting Terry's for the 3rd time on Wednesday November 7th. The band has been one of Trowbridge's most successful headline bands so we're delighted to have them back.

Also the support on this show is incredible. Main support comes a band who have made Trowbridge their second home, DEVIL SOLD HIS SOUL. They will be making their 6th visit to the town, their last being the mind blowing set at Mini Fest 2007. Third support on the show comes from London's CRY FOR SILENCE. We will also be adding a local to the line up, more info on this soon.

This awesome tour starts in Trowbridge then visits Leeds, Aberdeen, Glasgow, Manchester, Sheffield, London and Brighton. That means not only is Trowbridge the only show out of a city, it's also the only South West date on the whole tour! This is a big deal so keep showing your support and we'll have more shows like this :)

Tickets are £6.50 advance and will be onsale soon from the usual outlets. Every metal fan in the region will want to come to this so get yours early.
