Bio:

WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF EDGE OF THORNS !!!

We are Edge of Thorns and play Heavy Metal!
Our band was founded in 1996 by Dirk “Duke” Schmitt (v) and
Johannes Schütz (dr). The five musicians with Oliver Brück (b),
Jani Naeckel (rg) and Dave Brixius (lg) have already
released 3 Demo- CDs and the albums -ravenland- and -masquerading of the wicked-.
Edge of Thorns played with bands like JUDAS PRIEST, Dragonforce , Wizard, Korpiklaani , Majesty, Perzonal War, U.D.O., Tankard, Clawfinger, Brainstorm, Freedom Call, Sabaton, Van Canto, Hatesphere, Vengeance,
Rage, Dew Scented, Holy Moses, Subway to Sally and many others.

In November, 2nd, 2007 our latest CD -masquerading of the wicked-
has been released. The final mix has been done by
PIET SIELK (Iron Savior, Savage Circus,...) .
