While the bands pictured are my top 3 faves after U2, I would round that out with the Killers, Coldplay and KT Tunstall right now. I have too huge and wide ranging taste in music to list everything. If it is melodic, majestic and either joyful or moving, I love it!

Bono & the Edge, Jane Goodall (w. me!), Dian Fossey, David Attenborough and James Herriot (both the actor who played him on TV, and himself). These are some of my most influential heroes, but I admire ANYONE who overcomes adversity or strives to make the world a better place.
Recently transplanted Torontonian who made the move to Maryland for love! I have settled into my new home really well and am very happy here, although I sometimes get very homesick. In addition to my handsome husband, my other passions are my friends, music, dance (ballet and belly), animals, nature, my cottage, movies, TV, cycling, and good food and wine with great company!
A massive U2 fan since 1987 (can ya tell?) one of the highlights of my life was getting to dance with Bono on stage in Toronto on September 14, 2005. I had only been dreaming about that moment for 18 years!
I would never have been prepared to handle that moment though, were it not for Elevation, Toronto's AMAZING tribute to U2, who I have been dancing with for 5 years now. One of the things I miss most about Toronto is not getting to hang out with Elevation and my friends in the U2 GTA group much anymore. :(
I also have an idealistic passion to try to in my own small way make a positive impact on the world, something I think many U2 fans share. I think this is why I became a fundraiser.
Since I'm obviously never going to meet the Edge (beyond stuttering uselessly as I have done in the past), I would like to stay in touch with old friends and maybe meet some new ones along the way who share my interests.
