We are Edian (formerly known as The Nites) a band from South London, we started off by gigging the acoustic circuit around London, but after months of playing cover gigs, we started to sneak our own original songs into our sets, and realised that they got the better response, so we decided to focus more on the writing, we've both done session work for other artists so it was only a matter of time before we wanted some of the limelight.
We would say our music is a cross between The Script and the Goo Goo Dolls, clean cut pop/rock, music that isn’t trying to be strange for the sake of it, nor is it trying to fit in, for the break that’ll make us last a couple of weeks in the charts and then be forgotten, we write about things that everyone can relate to, the good times, and the shit times, we all have them, we want our music to mean something to people, like that summer tune that you listen to in your car on a great day, and everytime you hear it, it takes you back to that great day, or even that important first dance at your wedding, as long as it makes you sing along and tap your feet then we're doing something right.
5 years down the line after many sleepless nights and lots of hard work, we have been very lucky and blessed to have met and worked with so many great people such as, Justin Hawkins (The Darkness), Lee Ryan (Blue), The Hoosiers, John Giddings (Iggy Pop), Mcfly, Paul Westcott (Natalie Imbruglia), Journey South and hopefully lots more to come.
We are still building our fanbase, which is 'you guys', so thank you for all your support so far, we couldn't do it without you, so thanks again, we are determined to crack this, not just for us but for you guys!

HELLO.. I was so chuffed today.. we were in a Bar called ASTRAGALO, about 30 mins from us.. its in a commercial shopping centre.. we gave them your CD a few weeks ago.. Its a really busy place.. Well I arrived there today, and he was pumping out EDIAN!!! YAY!! Made my day..!! HE LOVES IT... Apparently all his customers have had it in their ears for the last few weeks!!
