I've been playing jazz since the early 21st century. I make a small living doing freelance work in and around San Diego. Jazz is the thing, but I enjoy playing in most contexts. Having grown up here (in Escondido) I've made some fine friends, many of whom are also great players. My association with the people I play with is invaluable. The recordings posted here come from some of these associations. Several of the tunes are compositions of mine, also.
I've recently graduated from SDSU with a Bachelors Degree in Jazz Studies, but learning never stops. I've devoted my life to becoming a better musician.

HEY HEY HEYYYYY!! ok so first off.... i'm going through withdrawls without my favorite band in the world playing some live music all the time!!
second, I'm renting a piano right now ;) so i've been [trying to] make some live music of my own- we should jam it out some time- I have music that i'm going to maybe record soon :D and i'd LOVE some pointers
and lastly- I have a question/proposition/request for you!!: This weekend, I'm competing (and i use that term pretty loosely given our rag tag team.... but nonetheless, I/we are competing in a 48 hour Short Film Contest!!!! its going to be rad- if you want to be in it we could always use more people!!! BUT my request is this- depending on the genre we get- (we draw them randomly friday night) i may or may not need some awesome soundtrack music!!! --It wouldn't be anything crazy, just for example if its a western: maybe a little honky bar room diddly, suspense or crime drama: maybe a little smoky jazz riff... you know pretty stock stuff for someone as badass as you. SOOOOO, Do you have recording capabilities from your keyboard to computer?? and if so, would you maybe like to contribute one or more of your many talents to the cause!!!??
