Edlington started into the music-scene as being the drummer of his school-band.After his time as a pupil he was found at the club-scenes of cologne,bonn and frankfurt.Soon followed the first releases and remixes for major record companies after he built up teams with the local djs (look at the discography below !). in the mid 90's walter edlington had his first success in the german sales -and also clubcharts and in 20 more countries .The huge smash hits of the dream-house project "zhi-vago" with the singles "celebrate the love" and "dreamer" (house nation/dance street/1996) were played all over the world and reached top 5 sales charts positions in france, top 20 sales charts in germany and no.1 hits in mexico , euro top 20 sales charts and many more... shortly before the millenium change the so successfull teams split and existed no more...as the consequence walter had to find his own way of producing ..."sometimes it's very hard being a perfectionist...!!After having a break from the scene for almost 7 years he felt that live without music is totally senseless and empty and edlington restarted to fight for his dreams to be a part of the community again and to make more good stuff for the Djs and the clubbers of the world !It happened that he met stuttgarts dj sean finn and the great techno Dj and producer Tosch aka Thomas Schillinger in autumn 2008.Tosch is making the best Job as contact and mentor between edlington and the recordcompanies and as remixer for some releases like "higher"....And edlington just remixed Tosch's new single "electric flash" which has just been released and will be followed by the remix-package on the 1st of December !!!(another remix by edlington on it!!)This track entered the swiss Dance charts this week on Nr. 5 and two german DJ-charts top 100!!!!Since then walter did some remixes for sean : human leagues "being boiled"-the mixes : sean finn & gino montesano (release winter 2009/2010 on freaky ),sean finn feat. Tinka "summerdays" ! Release spring 2010 on the legendary label "blanco y negro " !! and seanfinn feat.Carolina Lopez "saxophono"(edlington Remix/ Ministry of Sound)...walter and sean just started with their first project "Miss Candy" and the first single "higher" feat. "lucille" . The track was actually in the swiss and german Dj-Charts and played in the parisian radio stations this summer !The follow up is on the way.... Another new project of the two has just started : edlington & finn. with the first single "if you got the weed " (inclusive Robin Hirte Remix / Lad records :out now!!!) .Laurent Garnier says :"really into the whole ep-will play for sure !!" edlington just signed for his first solo releases @ lad records which will be released soon ! edlington is actually busy with : - follow-up releases for " edlington."//
