Ed Michael Reggie

About me:

Ed Michael Reggie serves on a variety of corporate and nonprofit boards of directors. In his responsibility as Managing Director of Future Factory, he acts with the Investment Committee in planning investment evaluations, looking after portfolio companies and working with their management staff to actualize growth and profit. Mr. Reggie is Chairman of the Board of GuideStar Clinical Trials Management a Chicago-based company which provides encompassing, subcontracted clinical trials management services to medical facilities and physician practices in the united states. Moreover, Mr. Reggie sits on the Board of the New Orleans BioInnovation Center, a wet lab incubator and a Good Manufacturing Practices laboratory for stem cell, vector and DNA production. Ed Michael started American LIFECARE, a regional managed care organization, which was later acquired by The Carlyle Group. Before this, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of Regent Health System, a rural hospital chain. He was a founding member of the Louisiana Health Care Commission. Previously in his career he served as a commercial bank president. Mr. Reggie has held several positions in the Tulane University Health Sciences Center. In 2004 he received Tulane's Champion of Public Health Award. Mr. Reggie drives micro-lending initiatives in developing countries through his roles as Treasurer and Trustee of Freedom from Hunger and Guarantor of MicroCredit Enterprises, both located in northern California. He has served as a healthcare system examiner in Cuba, Israel, Syria, Jordan, and the occupied territories with the Human Rights Project, Washington, D.C. and he also has been a delegate to Academy of International Health Studies trade missions to Rome and Hong Kong. Ed Michael Reggie achieved his Master of Business Administration degree from the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University.
