Edmund Allan Brown is an accomplished bassist, guitarist, and vocalist from the Mid-Atlantic area. He has written, toured, and recorded with many bands from the Mid-Atlantic, and currently lends his talent to several regional bands/acts, including Dean Cramer So Low, The Freddie Long Band, Alona, and Dragons of Eden. A prolific songwriter in his own right, his work is a regular feature of many indie radio play lists, and has received several independent music awards. Three songs ("Scattered Sunshine", "Writing on the Wall", and "Do You Love Me Anyway"), from his self produced album "Can You See The Sky?" (2007), were featured in the recently released Independent film "The Bride and the Grooms". Prior to that, the song "Daniel" was included on Versaille Records Skater Rock Vol. 1-2-3 (2008)

THE CD IS OUT!!!
A fresh approach and style that's rocks you while staying loyal to it's roots.
Not out to fool anyone, or blow you away or scare you.
just straight up hookfilled melodies dripping with pure honest emotion and raw energy.
Songs that pull you in and hold onto you tight, yet without invading your personal space.
toying with you at arms length, yet at the same daring you to get closer.
At a time when musicians and bands are playing follow the leader, trying so desperately to sound like the latest flash in the pan, Edmund Allan Brown shows no signs of desperation whatsoever. On the contrary, it's as if he's not trying at all. Music to him is a natural thing. A part of him. When you listen, you have a sense that this is the first time this song has been sung, as if in a movie scene, sung just for you. A moment in time shared between the artist and listener. drawn in by soaring guitar hooks monster beats, powerful vocals, you find yourself slowly, below the surface connecting on a deeper emotional level. Here, the sum of the parts equals much more than the whole. Lighthearted at times, but not frivolious. Edgy but never over the edge, Raw but not raunchy. Passionate without the need to be dark or depressing. Crossing genres without losing credibility, Edmund Allan Brown has achieved a certain balance so rarely found in today's music. One you're likely to keep coming back too! No matter what your mood!

Words cannot describe everything.
The heart's message cannot be delivered in words.
If one receives words literally, he will be lost,
If he tries to explain with words, he will not attain enlightenment in this life.
