About me:
Well, where do I start? Normally I need little introduction amongst the more discerning of the advertising community but I'll humour you my dear friends. Whilst my business partner Ogilvy appears to have enjoyed the spot light all these years, it was actually me who was the puppet master if you will. It was indeed many of my sound bites, gleaned over lunches too numerous to mention, that I recognise in his well documented ramblings. Although they do seem to have been subject to a politcal correctness makeover. Perhaps it's all that time David spent in the States that made him partial to re-writing history with the audacity of a Hollywood script writer. Still, I suppose that age old adage still rings true - imitation is the greatest form of flattery.
So looking back over a blessed career in the advertising industry with the lunches, the awards, the shoots, the beautiful ladies, the lunches that became dinner and the super brands I've built, I feel inclined to give something back. Such a wealth of knowledge and experience untapped seems scareligious quite frankly. So, unlike many flailing industry peers (and you know who you are), I'm always one to embrace new ideas and ways of communicating them thus here I am on MySpace offering my services to you.
So be you Creative, Suit, Marketeer or CEO tell me your woes, recount the issues that keep you awake at night and look to me for sound advice. I'll post your question and my response on my blogs - alternatively there's always my dear old friend Jeremy Bullmore.
