   About Ed Perrone

Holy Wars, by Ed Perrone

Sample and purchase tracks from Ed's 4-song CD, Holy Wars, from the SNOCAP store on this page! Here is the tracklist:

1. Holy Wars
2. Inquisition
3. Holy Wars (acoustic)
4. If Jesus Met Mohammed

The music is part psychedelic, part downright folksy, with a social conscience for the world in the 21st century.

"Inquisition" and "If Jesus Met Mohammed" are both featured at Neil Young's Living With War Today web site.

Also available for download from iTunes, or buy the CD at CD Baby.

Nostalgic Tears, by Ed Perrone

Ed's 2003 CD, Nostalgic Tears, is now also available at iTunes and in the SNOCAP store on this page. Here is the tracklist:

1. Nostalgic Tears ("Vicky's Song")
2. Descent
3. Flight of the Spirit
4. Something for You
5. (Feel Like a) Lost Child
6. The Final Goodbye
7. Something Else for You
8. With the Top Down

This CD is an eclectic mix of 8 songs, ranging from the mellow, folksy title track to the catchy, techno-pop stylings of With the Top Down.

You can buy the CD (and hear song clips) at CD Baby.

Ed Perrone has been creating music since his pre-teen years. Coming of age in the 1960s and '70s, he was immersed in the hippie/folk/psychedelic music and culture of the era. Musically, it was a highly eclectic time -- a time of experimentation in many different directions simultaneously. A true product of his era, Ed continues to reflect those divergent influences in his music today, writing songs that range from quiet country-folk vocal pieces to hard-edged blues-rock guitar instrumentals to mellow New Age synthesizer works.

Ed's music has been licensed for use in stage productions, films, and TV shows.

More recently, Ed's music has taken a more socially oriented turn (more of that '60s influence??) with the release of his EP Holy Wars.

CountryHome Forum, http://groups.myspace.com/CountryHomeMagazine , is one of the biggest Forum for country music in Europe and part of CountryHome, www.countryhome.de , Germany's Premier Online Country Music Magazine.

CountryHome Forum have more than 5,000 members. Each news you submit to CountryHome Forum will released to my weekly Newsletter with more than 50,000 readers.

Please submit your artist news and events to CountryHome Forum to help your artists to get well known better in Europe. If you do not have the time to submit your artist news and events by yourself, please send it me to: Ch.Lamitschka@t-online.de and I will submit them by myself to CountryHome Forum.

I know that many artists from North America don't have their music videos uploaded to German video websites. The most popular websites are MyVideo.de and ClipFish.de. That means your European audience does not have the chance to find them.

I understand that most of you don't speak German and are not able to upload videos because of the language barrier. If you would like me to upload your videos to the German video websites, please let me know.

Thanks

Christian

WOODSTOCK 1969-2009

TELL YOUR FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS! We want 500,000 Facebook friends on our own Yasgur's farm in cyberspace by August 15, 2009 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the 1969 Woodstock Festival.
http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=117081835299

This group is brought to you by the authors of Woodstock-Peace Music and Memories, a new publication from Krause Publications (Goldmine Magazine) that brings to life the 3 days of peace and music through the stories and personal photos of those who were there.
http://www.amazon.com/Woodstock-Peace-Memories-Brad-Littleproud/dp/0896898334

This is an unofficial Facebook group for the events planned to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the 1969 Woodstock Music and Arts Fair in White Lake, New York. This group will serve to provide up to the minute news, announcements and rumors associated with "official" Woodstock events from Woodstock Ventures Inc. and sanctioned celebrations. You will also find news on recent media associated with Woodstock and its 40th anniversary.

Brad Littleproud and Joanne Hague were lead preservationists in the pursuit of the historic preservation of the original Woodstock festival site in Bethel New York.
http://www.woodstockpreservation.org/

We invite Facebook friends to post their questions and quandaries about Woodstock, and use this group to seek information about the events that will be talked out in the months to come.

Hope to see you there!!!
