Ed is a prolific bass player/composer with a background of over 25 years as a session player/producer/gigging artist, having worked with the likes of Sam Brown (on her world-wide hit album and single 'Stop'), Let Loose(Ed was the bassplayer on 'all those hits 'Crazy for you','Seventeen','Take it Easy' etc...),Deana Carter(UK Tour) and Bonnie Tyler( toured over 50 countries) to name but a few. This experience has been utilised to its full potential with the composition of his first original music soundtrack for the film Cloud Cuckoo Land starring Sir Derek Jacobi, an Airbourne Productions project, amongst other TV/documentary works. He has just completed his fourth solo album.

Been busy, mainly with teaching /building a music academy with people like Steve White... Yeah, remember you telling me you played with Krys - 'til Mark poched him for Level 42 he he! Heard from him a couple of week back - he's had a problem with his neck and ear (causing his ear to distort) so not been playing much recently. However, he's aiming to get another bebop trio together and may be moving out to Chicago or NYC for a bit ('...too laid back in L.A., or asleep or something!')....Still got some fusion stuff planned with him in L.A. though, so that'll be good. Well, everything seems to be going great for you, continuing with new music / new projects etc?! ;-)) Cheers Ed, Jed.
Good to hear from you Ed! All is very well on this side of the pond, and I hope the same for you and yours. I've been meaning to let you know that I got "No One Home", the disc you did with Woody. There is some really great work there, and it's still in rotation. Impressive how you keep coming up with such great lines (Herbs Fluence and Snyper for ex) and make everyone's projects just that much better. Woody is great, that was a good rec. Hi my friend, I hope you find yourself happy, healthy and busy. I have just put up three tracks on my player and ask that you kindly check them out and let me know what you think of them. The first was written for my Daughter and is entitled "AMY'S OCEAN" which should chill you all out after a hard days work. The second is called "CHASING THE FANTASY" which will definately wake you up again afterwards, haha.... and the third is entitled "TRANQUILITY",.. which speaks for it's self.
