Small wonder Ed Schultz is the most listened-to Progressive radio talk show host in America. He gets the newsmakers and earthshakers from Barack to Hillary and all the big names in between. He has spoken at numerous caucus meetings on Capitol Hill and is one of the most consistent voices for working class Americans. Schultz has been the keynote speaker at Union conventions all across the country.

About me:

Schultz was the first Progressive talker to hit 100 affiliates, both satellite networks and the Armed Forces Radio Network. But it’s not just his ever-expanding audience that has been captivated by Ed’s bold commentary and lightning wit. He’s a favorite guest of talk show pioneer Larry King on CNN. Schultz has also been seen on Hardball, The O’Reilly Factor, Lou Dobbs, The Situation Room, American Morning, Morning Joe and many other shows. What he says matters. “But what my listeners say matters more,” he says. A veteran of 30 years in broadcasting, Schultz has covered some of the biggest events in American history. His gripping live network reports from Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. during the attacks of September 11th 2001 are the stuff of legend. Displaying quick thinking, composure and heart, Ed Schultz captured the moment through the voices of the biggest political names of the day on the spot and in the moment. Schultz also took his show to Gulf Port, Mississippi in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, leading a personal effort to make a difference. He is one of the only broadcasters in the country ever to do a show from Cuba. Shultz has won three Eric Sevareid Awards and has managed and been lead talent for a broadcast team that has won two Marconi’s and a prestigious Peabody Award. Ed has been named one of the top ten radio hosts in the country by Talkers Magazine in each of the last two years. In 2007 Ed Schultz was nominated Syndicated News/Talk Personality of the year by Radio & Records Ed’s book, “Straight Talk from the Heartland,” laid a roadmap for the Progressive wave that’s sweeping America. Penned in 2004 as if he had a crystal ball, Schultz’s words have been proven wise and his predictions uncanny. Schultz is a graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. His competitive nature helped him lead the nation in passing & achieve All-American status and as a quarterback at MSUM. His son Dave Schultz is a professional golfer on the PGA Nationwide tour. A devoted family man, Ed and his wife Wendy have six children. He shares his passion for hunting, fishing and flying with his large family.

Who I'd like to meet:

The like minded individuals in this country who believe in the ideals that a democratic America was built on.

    Hey Ed,
What's up with Gov. Sanford?  This grown man has lost his freaking mind.  He claims his mistress is his "soul mate" But claims to want to fall back in love with his wife?  What?  Mark Sanford is one sick puppy.

Jenny Sanford better get her a good lawyer.  The latest is Sanford fooled around with other women.  Sanford is proving to be a Christian FREAK!!  He needs to STEP DOWN now.  He's becoming a complete embarrassment.

Ed, I'm so glad you are the voice of reason.  What happened to everyone's common sense.  We NEED healthcare, it doesn't matter how much it cost, we as a country should pull together in order to provide adequate healthcare for all.

AND what's up with all those Republicans clowns bashing President Obama over Iran.  Are you serious?  These fools are more focused on starting another war, two wars is not enough for them, they want to send millions of OUR hard earned dollars to another foreign country instead of FIXING THE MESS they created right here on the economy!!

    The GOP are truly PSYCOS.

Hey Ed it seems like the only people trashing President Obama and his Administration is the Old Republicans thats been in office for over 20-30 years . Why not get some younger people in Office and see where their views are on our President

I hope your wisdom and power of microwaves through space can rescue a once thriving city of Buffalo, Ny. We are looking forward to seeing you. It would be amazing if Obama and Biden saw the show and what has happened to communities like Western New York. Keep doing what your doing sir, you are truly amazing at what you do!

Don't let Bush off the hook just cuz he got on that chopper!! Add my track, "The G.O.P." (Greedy Old Peckerwoods)and use it as a daily reminder of the level of "Duchebaggery" these neo-cons stooped to in the last 8 years!!!
We can't let up until Rove and the rest of the crime family are rotting in the pen for obvious War Crimes!!! And if Cheney thinks the country will feel sorry for his evil ass just cuz he's sittin' in a wheelchair,he must be poppin' Pigman Limbaugh's Oxicontin!!
