At just 26 years old, DJ and Music Producer, Eduardo Rossell is at the top of his game.
Having made the transition that many others fail in before namely manifesting themselves from promising talent to a genuine global star; with a reputation as one of the brightest stars and a ever growing fan base watching every of his steps, he is gathering steam at a furious pace, shaping his career up to be a rollercoaster of massive proportions.
Rossellís International DJ and Live Act appearances are more in demand than ever, his unique sound has been exported to cities such like Cape Town - South Africa, Bucharest - Romania, Geneva - Switzerland, Manchester - England, Ibiza and Barcelona - Spain, Buenos Aires - Argentina, San Jose - Costa Rica, New York and Miami - USA, not only as main act but also sharing the stage with top gamers in the industry, as: Groove Armada, Erick Morillo, David Morales, Roger Sanchez, Tiesto, Paul Oakenfold, Paul Van Dyk, John Acquaviva, James Zabiela, Hernan Cattaneo, Sander Kleinenberg, Satoshi Tomiie, Mylo and Victor Calderone to name a few.
Production wise kid, Eduardo doesnít stop surprising everyone. With a discography that tops over 20 productions and remixes, he could be named one of Mexicoís top producers today. Recent highlights include the dance floor hits: Dancing With Strangers (Brandnewvibe - Renaissance - Ministry of Sound) and Juber (Definitive); both tracks have been openers in two Essential Mixes for Radio One, massively supported by a whoís who like of international Djing with the likes of John Acquaviva, James Zabiela, Nic Fanciulli, Sander Kleinenberg, 16 Bit Lolitas, Chris Lake, Dave Spoon, James Talk and Arno Cost.
As well as his own material Rossell is in immense demand for remixes having stamped his mark on the tunes: Acquaviva and Zenker - Swimming With Sharks (BluFin Records), Acquaviva - Metal Detector (Definitive), Marc Sun - Dawnlight (Jack Digitals), Funky Junction - House is the Power (Sheeva Recordings), as well as many other unreleased sought after white labels and bootlegs.
Defining Rossellís sound to one plain form of dance music is highly impossible. He regularly ghosts between styles, taking in Techno, Tech-House, and Electronica, all delivered in a supremely tight mix with tons of his own productions and remixes thrown in for good measure. It is through this tireless experimentation that Eduardo keeps himself ahead of the chasing pack, truly formed his own sound and constantly adding it with his discography. To further facilitate this insatiable appetite for production, together with Martin Parra, he has set up his own imprint called Phonia Records. This label will concentrate in forward thinking music supporting 100% Mexican producers.
With an agenda filled with gigs all over, it looks like 2008 will be an incredible year for Eduardo who calmly guarantees that this is just the beginning.
